High-end food distributor with a modern flair in search of a Brand Ambassador within the Philadelphia area.
As a leader in healthy authentic Italian foods, our rapid growth is beginning to catapult us internationally. This is a very exciting time in our company, we are looking for a passionate and driven sales professional that can assist in maintaining and expanding our reach. Our product portfolio is diverse and is pleasantly welcomed in the culinary field.
We serve the finest restaurants, country clubs, hotels, caterers, culinary schools and specialty food stores around the country. This position will provide opportunities to meet new and existing clients such as Chefs, restaurateurs, business owners and some of the innovators and leaders in the food scene.
Position details:
Create new clients in both retail and food service channels, build and maintain healthy relationships with key account contacts, maximize revenue in existing accounts, brand management, travel as needed to meet clients and promote our brand. The Brand Ambassador ultimately acts as the face of our company by delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Promoting and selling a high-end product line.
- Sales Associates will adapt the process of producing and managing sales through the development and growth of new accounts and by increasing sales with existing accounts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Investigates and resolves customer issues with deliveries.
- Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts, showcasing product and service capabilities.
- Expand sales with existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
Qualified applicants should possess:
- One to two years of related experience in food sales, restaurant, or other food related industry.
- High energy and enthusiastic attitude.
- Candidate should have a good understanding of the assigned sales area.
Requirements:
- Passion for Food Industry and Gastronomy.
- Knowledge of quality Italian food.
- Enjoy selling and networking with new potential clients.
- Retail/Food sales experience.
- Ability to travel with your own vehicle.
- Unexpired driver’s license.
- Clear MVD record.
- Minimum of 1 year outside sales experience.
Compensation:
- Base Salary plus Commission - commensurate with the applicant's experience in the field of
- Commission
- Bonus based on performance
- Annual Salary: 65,000 -$85,000
