Warehouse Operations Specialist
Location: Bottineau, ND | Salary: $32,000 per year | Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient warehouse operations while providing excellent service to customers. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in a courteous and professional manner to fulfill their product needs.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and manage inventory.
- Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, including handling hatches, hoses, and safety measures.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Deliver products such as fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and feed to customer locations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including lubrication and inspections.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas, including sweeping, shoveling, and general housekeeping duties.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, including snow removal when necessary.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, identifying and addressing workplace hazards.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:Required:
- Must meet the minimum age requirement.
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Ability to operate loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile equipment.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- CDL license (or ability to obtain one) with Hazmat endorsement preferred.
- Agriculture industry experience is a plus.
- Forklift certification preferred.
