This dynamic venue is designed to be the go-to destination for music lovers, foodies, and event-goers alike. We’re seeking an experienced Talent Buyer and Event manager to manage and curate all aspects of our live music programming, talent bookings, and private events while also playing a key role in event marketing. Job Description:
you will manage the daily operations of live music performances and events, activities handle talent bookings, and curate a vibrant performance calendar. In addition to booking and artist relations, you will be responsible for marketing events, ensuring they are successfully promoted and well-attended. You will work closely with the General Manager and the marketing team to create campaigns that drive engagement and ticket sales. Your leadership will be key to building our venue’s brand, attracting top-tier talent, and delivering exceptional experiences for both artists and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Management of Live Entertainment:
- Oversee the daily logistics and operations of live performances, including managing artist arrivals, soundchecks, stage setup, and technical requirements.
- Supervise the execution of events to ensure smooth operations from start to finish, resolving issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with production teams, sound engineers, and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality experiences for both artists and patrons.
- Booking & Talent Management:
- Curate and book diverse, exciting live music performances that appeal to our target audience, balancing local talent and national acts.
- Negotiate contracts, manage artist logistics, and ensure a positive, professional experience for performers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with booking agents, managers, and music industry professionals to ensure a steady stream of talent.
- Private Event Programming & Coordination:
- Oversee the booking and execution of private events, including corporate functions, weddings, and special engagements, ensuring that each event aligns with the venue’s brand and standards.
- Collaborate with the event team and clients to deliver customized experiences, from small gatherings to large-scale events.
- Event Marketing & Promotion:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies for events, concerts, and private functions.
- Create compelling marketing materials and campaigns to drive ticket sales, increase brand awareness, and enhance audience engagement.
- Use social media, email marketing, and partnerships with local influencers and media outlets to promote events and build anticipation.
- Analyze event performance and marketing metrics to refine future strategies and ensure events reach their full potential.
- Event Strategy & Calendar Development:
- Develop and maintain a strategic performance calendar, ensuring a mix of musical genres and events that attract a broad audience.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and other teams to ensure the calendar aligns with the venue’s goals and audience expectations.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team and production staff to ensure smooth operations and high levels of service.
- Work with the venue operations team to ensure seamless coordination of all events, from ticketing and entry to artist hospitality.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment across all departments.
- Brand & Community Building:
- Strengthen the venue’s reputation as a leading music and event destination by curating high-quality performances and engaging with the local music scene.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, cultural organizations, and industry partners to help grow the venue’s visibility and community presence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5 years) in music booking, talent management, and event coordination, with a strong background in live music venues, event spaces, or entertainment management.
- Demonstrated experience in event marketing, including the development and execution of marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales and audience engagement.
- Expertise in booking and managing live performances across a wide range of genres, from emerging talent to established acts.
- Strong background in managing private events, corporate functions, and special engagements.
- Solid understanding of contract negotiations, artist relations, and managing artist expectations.
- Proven ability to work with marketing teams to create compelling event promotions across social media, email, print, and digital platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage staff in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
- Passion for live music, event management, and creating memorable experiences.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
