Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in a resort/retreat environment. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring that all spaces are not only clean but also welcoming for guests and residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Sanitize surfaces to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented.
- Manage floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to enhance the appearance of floors.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Follow all housekeeping protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred, particularly in hotel or vacation home settings.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning supplies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
