We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Server/Cleaning Staff member. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our event venue, combining excellent customer service with meticulous cleaning responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, professional, and committed to creating memorable experiences for our clients and their guests.
Responsibilities:
Serving Duties:
- Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverages, and event-specific details.
- Ensure tables and serving areas are clean, organized, and replenished as needed.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of food and drink stations, buffets, or bars.
- Collaborate with the event team to address guest needs promptly and professionally.
Cleaning Duties:
- Prepare the venue before events, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and arranging furniture as specified.
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the venue after events, including restrooms, floors, tables, and high-touch surfaces.
- Remove trash, replace liners, and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
- Inspect the venue for damages or maintenance issues and report them to the Event Manager.
- Assist in organizing and storing venue equipment and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs. for extended periods.
