What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Manager position at Sojo Industries?
The Inventory Manager is a leadership position in Sojo’s facility operations and plays a critical role ensuring inventory accuracy in the regional Hub; customer FEFO/FIFO requirements are being adhered to; and Sojo’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system are operating in synch and efficiently. In addition, this position will be responsible for inventory reporting to customers and internal Sojo departments. The Inventory Manager reports to the Regional Plant Director.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate raw materials, WIP and finished goods inventory counts within Sojo’s WMS
Serve as site leader (local Subject Matter Expert) for WMS training and best practices
Responsible to update and fix WMS and related-ERP transactions
Manage the inventory management program by executing timely cycle counting, reconciliations and any necessary resolution to areas of weakness that are identified to meet accuracy goals
Create audit and error reports to identify and correct discrepancies
Direct inventory clerks in their assigned duties
Perform and support traceability / mock recall exercises
Responsible for fixing and responding directly to customer inventory discrepancies
Develop, measure, and drive inventory control processes that promote fast inventory turns and consistent FEFO/FIFO delivery
Collaborate with other Hub Inventory Managers to develop and drive best practices as WMS upgrades/processes change
Manage, train, and develop staff, including inventory, line operators, forklift operators, and warehouse colleagues

Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
