What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST position at SOJOURN BICYCLING & ACTIVE VACATIONS?
Join our team as an Asset Management Specialist, where you will play a vital role in supporting our assets and logistics operations. This is a part-time(10-15 hrs.) weekly commitment – Both hours and schedule can be flexible. You’ll work closely with various team members and vendors, managing everything from permits to vehicle logistics, with a focus on bikes and commercial vehicles. This role is eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $750. The bonus will be paid out after completing a successful 180-day with the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Manage permits and Commercial Use Authorizations (CUA)
– Oversee asset maintenance schedule for trailers, vans, and bikes, acting as the primary contact for bike mechanics, van dealerships, and trailer shops
– Handle parts supply and logistics management
– Plan and coordinate asset allocation and movement for tours, including vans, bikes, and trailers
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
– Expertise in driving large vehicles with trailers
– Strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive approach
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Space
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Experience in the biking industry, bike shops, or vehicle logistics is highly preferable
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Proven track record of project ownership from inception to completion
– Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
