SojouRN is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) to work with children with autism spectrum disorders in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field, and have a minimum of two years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the needs of each client and their caregivers.
- Administer assessments such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essential for Living, Functional Assessments, and Functional Analysis to determine the best course of action for each client.
- Utilize behavioral skills training to teach direct care staff the skills needed to implement ABA procedures and interventions.
- Supervise behavior technicians in the implementation of ABA procedures and interventions.
Requirements
- Masters degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB.
- Able to move freely, quickly, and frequently from a seated position (on the floor or in a chair) to a standing position as well as able to lift items up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
