We are looking for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at SojouRN. This role involves working under physician direction using radioactive materials for diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
Job Description
- The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing dosages of radioactive materials, administering to patients, operating nuclear instruments, and preparing test information for the physician.
- This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and perform duties as requested by supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School education required.
- 2 years of experience in ANY of the following: Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Pharmacy, or Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS), American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS).
Benefits and Working Conditions
This is a full-time position with Monday through Friday 7am-3pm shifts, some flexibility possible. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical isotopes and their applications in diagnosis and treatment.
