Responsibilities and Expectations
- Perform thorough Physical Therapy assessments and create effective treatment plans
- Record and report patient progress, reactions to treatment, and condition changes
- Instruct patients and caregivers on therapy programs and device use
- Supervise physical therapy assistants and certified nursing assistants as needed
- Prepare comprehensive reports and participate in staff development activities
The schedule for this role includes Monday-Friday day shifts, with occasional weekend work (every 6 weeks) and two holidays per year. Local travel to residential homes is also required.
