What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Services Specialist position at SojouRN?
We are seeking a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with children and families affected by autism spectrum disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Select the most appropriate assessments for each learner and complete all required components in a timely manner.
- Administer various assessments, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essential for Living, Functional Assessments, and Functional Analysis.
- Develop comprehensive reports on functional behavior assessments, individual treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and discharge summaries.
- Utilize behavioral skills training to teach direct care staff the skills needed for each client's program and monitor progress regularly.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians in the implementation of ABA procedures and interventions.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years' experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
