Qualifications and Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
- One year of relevant experience as a Social Worker
- Valid licenses/certifications in Michigan (MI), including but not limited to:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
- Certified Mental Health Professional (CMHP)
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical services to adults and families
- Assess and document client needs for mental health and/or substance abuse services
- Provide individual and group therapy
- Collaborate with other professionals and service providers
- Maintain all contractual and licensure requirements
- Participate in supervision, meetings, and case consultations
- Complete clinical records and agency documentation in a timely manner
- Follow professional code of ethics
- Coordinate effective discharge planning
- Complete required training in mental health and substance use disorders
- Perform other duties as needed
Schedule and Shift Details
Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm. Evening hours will be required, and determined based on program needs.
Travel and Reimbursement
Occasional local travel. Mileage reimbursement provided.
