What are the responsibilities and job description for the Derrick Hand-WORK OVER RIG position at SOJOURNER DRILLING CORP?
Responsibilities:
- Assists in rigging up and down, pulling/laying down rods, tubing and casing
- Rig up & down guy wires, hydraulic jack, pads/boards and emergency gear
- Maintaining clean and organized work environment
- Make sure equipment is in proper working order (clean, grease, fuel, fix and change oil, etc.)
- Assists other crew members as required
- Connects well head attachments, loads tools, and performs similar duties
- Identifies and avoids potential problems
- Assist in set up and tear down of rig
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Required Skills
- Willing to Train the right candidates.
- Ability to communicate effectively
Must pass company drug and background test
We work LOCALLY! Home EVERY NIGHT!!!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
