What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Aide position at Sojourner House Inc?
The Program Aide provides supportive guidance to women in a ?women with children?s? residential program. Aides familiarize residents with program guidelines, provide practical suggestions about domestic and housekeeping expectations, monitor behaviors, provide support, observe women in the community and do medication monitoring. The Program Aide may also be assigned to the Children?s Center and may work directly with Sojourner House youth. The work involves meeting quality assurance standards, licensing, credentialing and regulatory compliance, and achieving program and client outcome goals as applicable to women experiencing problems related to substance abuse, life skills, and parenting.
Employees are expected to perform all duties as assigned by supervisor.
