Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and handling transactions with a focus on customer service and hospitality. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
- Manage the reservation system and ensure an organized flow of guests.
- Process customer orders accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu and restaurant services.
- Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to enhance guest relations and service quality.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
