Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong ability to engage with guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring that all patrons receive prompt, attentive service while effectively upselling menu items.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the Aloha POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, fostering positive guest relations.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or needs.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining genuine interactions with guests.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess valid food handling certifications as required by local regulations.
