Autocad Designer

Solü is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to support our client, Arizona's largest electric utility. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying design drawings, bills of materials, and other project documentation related to facility and plant upgrades. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects involving the installation, modification, and operation of electrical, mechanical, civil, and instrument systems.

The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all project documentation while contributing to the successful execution of engineering initiatives

Responsibilitie

• s:Prepare and revise electrical, mechanical, civil, and instrument drawings using manual or CAD technique
• s.Assist in developing structural layouts, signal diagrams, wiring and schematic diagrams, and bills of material
• s.Gather and organize engineering data, conduct field investigations to determine design requirements, and perform necessary calculation
• s.Ensure all project commitments are met within established timeline
• s.Maintain compliance with procedures, government regulations, and industry code
• s.Compile project documentation, submit it for review and approval, and manage transmittal
• s.Update and maintain design configuration documents using CAD and manual drafting technique
• s.Assist in developing design change packages while ensuring constructability, maintainability, and accessibilit
• y.Conduct plant walk-downs for design verification and coordinate with other department
• s.Apply critical thinking to resolve design challenges and recommend process improvement
