Solü is currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our client’s team. This role involves servicing, commissioning, and troubleshooting capital equipment used in mixing and separation processes across industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, and commercial composites. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide professional support to customers at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately for troubleshooting and repair.
- Possess hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems.
- Apply millwright expertise to install, maintain, and repair equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Commission and set up new machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all service activities for field reporting and invoicing.
- Accurately track and submit expense reports.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels, from laborers to executives.
- Provide training or supervision for customer employees as needed.
- Travel up to 75%, including domestic trips (3-5 days per assignment) and occasional international assignments (up to 4-6 weeks). A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic experience.
- Experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Previous Millwright experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to document service activities accurately.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing job requirements.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse customer teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including domestic trips (3-5 days per assignment) and occasional international assignments (up to 4-6 weeks). A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Previous experience working with capital equipment in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, or commercial composites is highly preferred.
Salary : $40,000 - $55,000
