We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced technical solutions for our organization. This role involves infrastructure architecture, system design, and providing expert-level guidance in complex technical environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with Calypso fintech platforms, fixed income systems, and technical engineering best practices, driving successful project delivery and system optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement technical solutions aligned with organizational requirements.
- Lead infrastructure architecture and system design initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Technology management, business partners, and support teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Conduct research, development, and deployment of new or enhanced systems and technologies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor interactions, managing contracts and external resources as necessary.
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers, providing technical leadership and reviewing their work.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system architecture, technical standards, and user requirements.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and solution discussions with stakeholders of varying levels.
- Ensure compliance with risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, financial services advancements, and emerging technologies.
- Manage project estimation, budgeting, and planning activities.
- Support critical system migrations, such as the fixed income migration project, ensuring seamless execution and post-implementation support.
