About the Role:
As a driver, you will assist passengers who may require additional support due to age, disability, or medical conditions. This includes handling boarding fares, securing mobility equipment, and making decisions with passenger safety as your top priority. You’ll work closely with a team committed to excellence in service while maintaining a strong focus on the unique needs of each passenger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers to and from their destinations with empathy and professionalism.
- Collect and handle boarding fares, ensuring accurate documentation and accountability.
- Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and professional appearance of company vehicles, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
- Properly secure wheelchairs inside vehicles, following safety protocols.
- Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and any mobility equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow all company procedures for scheduling, routing, and safety compliance.
- Be prepared to work overtime as needed, with flexibility for varying schedules.

Schedule:
- Service is provided Monday through Sunday, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum age of 25 years old.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and customer-focused approach.
- Reliable transportation for commuting to the office.
- Basic proficiency with technology, such as GPS and mobile devices.
- Must pass a DOT-regulated drug screening and Department of Justice Live Scan background check.
- Exemplary attention to detail, especially when handling fares, schedules, and passenger needs.
- Flexibility to work independently and adapt to last-minute changes.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and follow detailed instructions, manuals, and safety procedures.
- Effectively communicate with managers, coworkers, and passengers, ensuring clear and respectful interactions.
