What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobility Service Agent: Driver position at Sol Transportation?
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Paratransit Driver that will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe transportation of passengers.
- Maintain the interior and exterior of company vehicles to promote a safe and comfortable environment for the passengers and project a positive image in the community.
- Properly secure wheelchairs inside the vehicle.
- Assist passengers with necessary equipment.
- Make complex decisions involving the safety of passengers.
Requirements:
- Must have exemplary communication skills.
- Must be detail orientated.
- Must be flexible with work times and able to work independently.
- Must have basic understanding of technology.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED.
- Minimum 25 years old.
- Must have a valid California driver's license.
- No Felonies (Multiple DUI, or DWS, Leaving Scene with Injuries, Assault with Vehicle)
- Must pass a drug screen and DOJ Live Scan.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write and understand job related instructions and manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and passengers.
- Bilingual is an additional skill. However, it is not a requirement.
