Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized waiting list.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Learn the menu and take orders over the phone.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the dining area and host station.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess in a restaurant environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with food service operations
- Proficient in using POS systems, including Aloha and Micros
- Background in hospitality and guest services
- Ability to manage phone etiquette and guest relations effectively
