Role Description
Construction Foreman, “Foreman” is responsible for the overall efficiency and production of day-to-day onsite operations. Foreman is responsible executing construction of projects from start to finish using blueprint plans and equipment specification sheets. Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation crew and coordinating with the onsite Superintendent/Foreman to ensure projects are organized with the appropriate manpower to be completed on time. Foreman is responsible for ensuring the installation crew is performing work safely and efficiently with the necessary tools, equipment and material available. Foreman is responsible for communicating day to day manpower, equipment, scheduling and material needs to the Field Superintendent. Foreman report to the Field Superintendent and receive work assignments from the Field Superintendent.
Qualifications
- Lead, manage, educate, and hold accountable Construction Installers.
- Knowledge HVAC installation and best practices for new installation and retro fit projects
- Knowledge of installation of ductwork, exhaust fans, and HVAC Systems
- Knowledge of HVAC hand tools used for trade.
- Ensure installation crews show up with personal protective gear.
- Ability to draft RFI’s (Request for information) as they are needed for specific jobs.
- Comfort ability working from ladders, lifts and scaffolding in a safe manner
- Ability to draft RFI’s (Request for information) as they are needed for specific jobs
- Basic knowledge of the refrigerant cycle and electricity
- Ability to read and perform material takes offs from blue prints.
- Ability to accurately field measure, cut materials to appropriate length and size.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others.
- Personal time keeping/time log and that of onsite installation crew.
Salary : $40 - $50
