The Salon Coordinator is the first point of contact for clients, responsible for creating a welcoming and serene environment as they enter the spa. This role involves managing appointments, providing information about services, handling administrative tasks, salon maintenance, linen laundry, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for every client.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage appointment schedules, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries about spa services, treatments, and pricing.
- Assist clients with checking in and out, processing payments, and managing any special requests or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring all promotional materials, brochures, and retail products are well-displayed.
- Coordinate with spa staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing client records.
- Promote spa services, packages, and retail products to enhance the client experience.
- Address and resolve any client issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Layout new robes in changing rooms
- Provide drinks and desserts for clients
- Wash and fold linens and robes
- Support the spa management team with daily operational tasks as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a spa, salon, or wellness environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and basic computer applications.
