Job Summary:
The Hospice Strategic Manager is responsible for developing and implementing long-term strategies to ensure the growth, financial sustainability, and quality of hospice services. This role requires expertise in healthcare management, business development, and regulatory compliance to enhance patient care while achieving organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance hospice care delivery, financial performance, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze market trends, patient demographics, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to set organizational goals and monitor key performance indicators.
- Identify and develop new service programs to meet patient and community needs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, referral sources, and community partners to increase patient access to hospice services.
- Implement cost-effective operational improvements while maintaining high quality care standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction programs, and staff training efforts.
- Develop and oversee policies and procedures that align with best practices in hospice care.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in patient-centered care.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in achieving strategic objectives.
- Strong knowledge of JCAHO standards and CMS regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field. (Master preferred)
- 3-5 years minimum of hospice, palliative care, or healthcare management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to develop partnerships and drive business growth.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire teams.
