What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Volunteer position at Solace Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc?

Solace Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc is currently looking for caring and compassionate Hospice Volunteers.
Volunteers make a profound difference in an individuals' end-of-life journey through companionship and socialization. Examples of volunteer opportunities include reading to the patient, assisting with a hobby, listening, and running errands among others.
Training will be provided by Solace Hospice for interested parties.

Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, if traveling to make patient visits.
- Must be able to pass background check requirements.
- Most recent physical exam
- TB test or chest-Xray
Schedule:
- Choose your own hours. Most volunteers spend an average of 1-2 hours per visit.
- Ability to commute
Work Location: Individual's home or skilled facility.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $1.00 per day
