Position Overview:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Decorative Assistants. In this role, you will play a vital role in assisting with the setup and breakdown of event decor. Alongside unpacking, assorting, and packing decor items, you will also assist in the installation of decor. This includes helping to create ceiling decor by tying knots, ensuring decor is installed securely, and displaying a passion for the art of decoration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the unpacking, assorting, and packing out of event decor items.
- Participate in decor installation, including hanging ceiling decor and setting up displays.
- Help create ceiling decor by tying knots securely and accurately.
- Ensure decor items are installed securely and by design guidelines.
- Safely use ladders and equipment to access elevated areas for decor installation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
- Display a passion for decoration and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event decoration or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights using ladders and other equipment.
- Basic knot-tying skills and an understanding of decor installation techniques.
- Physical strength and ability to lift and carry decor items.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for decoration and a keen eye for detail.
