The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in driving the financial success by providing in-depth financial analysis, managing financial models, and supporting strategic decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on a regular basis. Reporting directly to the Director of FP&A, the SFA will collaborate closely with the corporate accounting team and operating division leadership to deliver insightful financial assessments that drive business performance.
As a member of the finance team, essential duties will include but not limited to:
- Perform in-depth financial analysis to evaluate company performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data, key metrics, and variances to assess risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards; reports to track performance and support decision-making.
- Maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, strategic planning, and scenario analysis.
- Assess the financial impact of various business initiatives, investments, and projects.
- Work cross-functionally to integrate financial models into the business planning process.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to create budgets aligned with company goals.
- Prepare accurate financial forecasts and variance analysis monthly to track performance against budget.
- Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation and enhance budgeting processes.
- Ad-hoc reporting, special projects, and other department support as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting techniques
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and people skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Oracle Fusion, and financial modeling software
- Experience organizing and managing projects
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in work products
