What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Associate position at Solais Lighting, LLC?
The Client Service Associate is front facing with the Client. They are responsible for translating all external communication to the respective internal departments within the company. They will be in-charge of entering all orders within the ERP system (NetSuite). The person in this role will interact with clients to provide information about products and services for Solais Lighting. This role requires an extremely detailed person with an eagerness for learning more, in an ever-changing industry.
ESSENTIAL GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Under the direction of the Sr. Client Service Associate, this position will:
· Enter sales orders for all new incoming customer purchase orders while ensuring accuracy.
· Work closely with sales, production, shipping and finance team to ensure orders are handled with the appropriate urgency.
· Understand and adhere to system processes, policies, and procedures.
· Trace status of sales orders from order entry to delivery to the customer.
· Build knowledge of product lines, delivery times, to support creation of quick work orders to satisfy client expectations and/or company obligations.
· Act as “First Line of Defense” with all client communications from emails, phone calls, etc.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
· Lighting, manufacturing and/or construction project management experience a plus.
· Ability to work in Frisco, TX office, for a business with a start-up culture.
· Ability to work across departments in a cross-department functional manner to produce results that satisfy clients and achieve 100% client success rates.
· Learn, maintain technical knowledge of product lines to support varying levels of communication and workload within the company (Engineering, Quotations, Production, etc.)
· Possess analytical and reasoning skills to research status of sales orders, work orders, and or purchase orders.
· Possess skills to learn new systems, adapt quickly to new processes, and embrace new workflows as deemed necessary based on company needs.
· Learn and maintain knowledge of all internal and external stakeholders to facilitate order completion, and/or client satisfaction.
· Possess ability to work through shifting priorities and escalations.
· Knowledge of NetSuite, and Excel is plus.
