Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Specialist to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facility. This role is responsible for conducting facility-wide inspections, performing general maintenance and repairs, and assisting with janitorial duties to keep the workplace in top condition. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment.

A successful candidate must be able to:

• Perform routine inspections of the building, safety systems, and equipment.
• Identify and report potential hazards, structural issues, or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, safety checks, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety, emergency exits, and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, plumbing, and building systems.
• Handle minor plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and clearing clogs.
• Assist with basic HVAC maintenance, such as replacing filters and troubleshooting issues.
• Perform general building upkeep, including minor electrical work, carpentry, and equipment repairs.
• Assist with daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom upkeep.
• Ensure common areas, offices, and workspaces remain clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and restock janitorial supplies as needed.

• Respond to spills, leaks, or urgent cleaning needs to maintain a safe environment.
• All other duties assigned.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Knowledge of safety regulations, cleaning protocols, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to operate basic maintenance tools and janitorial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• 3 years experience in facility maintenance, safety inspections, plumbing, HVAC, janitorial work, or related fields.
• Certifications in OSHA safety training, HVAC, or plumbing are a plus.
• Previous experience in facility-wide inspections, maintenance, and janitorial work.

Physical Requirements:

• This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting 100 lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, climbing on roofs, navigating high distances, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
