The Inside Sales Representative ensures smooth sales operations by managing the sales pipeline and delivering top-notch customer service, lead qualification, proposal preparation, and outside estimator support. You’ll be key in coordinating between customers, sales, and operations teams to streamline the sales process. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with online tools, and a passion for teamwork.

Key Job Responsibilities
Lead Management:
- Manage and organize the flow of inbound leads from multiple sources (phone calls, web leads, “Bid-on-Plan” platforms, etc.).
- Organize and prioritize customer requests to ensure accurate and timely responses and proposals.
- Communicate with prospective clients via phone and email to assess needs, promote products, and either own the sale by writing bids or refer the customer to the appropriate outside Estimator.
Outside Estimator Team Support:
- Assist with urgent/direct requests for proposals coming into the sales team's email from their repeat clients.
- Take ownership of maintaining a well-organized CRM and use to track the estimating team’s leads closely and follow up with them to ensure accurate and timely completion of customer proposals, contracts, and project files.
- Own a timely and accurate handoff process between sales, project management, operations, and finance for all projects ensuring outstanding customer service and on-time project delivery.
Account Management:
- Using CRM software, maintain a comprehensive customer and company information database, including contact details, project specifications, and communication history.
- Ensure consistent pricing and service experience for key accounts.
- Identify key and repeat clients and work to understand their priorities. Stay connected to key customers throughout their projects, checking in to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with sales, operations, and contracts teams to improve outcomes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve bid processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and success rates.
- Build and maintain a working knowledge of window films, how glazing systems interact with films, and installation access methods to better advise customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and suggest improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of proven experience in a sales support role preferably connected to the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Google Suite, and other sales-related tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and suggest process enhancements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
