JOB TITLE: Processing and Packaging Manager
DIVISION: El Blunto
AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:
- Directly reports to the Founder & CEO of Albert Einstone’s LLC
- Oversees the Processing and Packaging Technicians in the El Bunto Division
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the El Blunto pre-roll production process to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Develop and implement SOPs for efficient and high-quality pre-roll production.
- Monitor and maintain manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant cannabis regulations and reporting requirements.
- Train staff on proper manufacturing techniques and safety procedures.
- Conduct quality checks, maintain a QMS, and address quality issues.
- Manage pre-roll packaging, including labeling, sealing, and boxing, ensuring product integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain detailed quality control records.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cannabis products.
- Support new manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Contribute to projects aimed at efficiency and cost reduction.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and support special events.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Utilize inventory and quality control software.
- Use Metrc for product tracking.
- Collect and analyze data related to production processes and quality.
- Research best practices for cannabis manufacturing and packaging.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
- Metric experience required
- Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Must be proactive, have strong work ethic and pay great attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills required
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Frequently move up to 30 pounds of equipment/materials/product (100 pounds with assistance)
- Must be comfortable working in a variable environment including high temperatures and humidity
- Comfortable working on lifts / heavy equipment and heights over 6 feet off the groun
- May include being in a stationary position or moving for extended periods
