Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, demonstrating proficiency in various trades. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently to address a wide range of maintenance person services, ensuring that all tasks are completed to high standards.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on primarily residential properties, including drywall, carpentry, welding and plumbing work.
- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify issues that require attention.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role in maintenance or repair services.
- Strong knowledge of various trades including carpentry, welding, and plumbing. Welding is a must!
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
