Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating team installing solar panels and related equipment, following design plans and specifications.
- Mounting solar panels on rooftops or other structures, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
- Connecting wiring and electrical components to integrate solar systems into existing electrical systems.
- Performing tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety of solar systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with solar installations and making necessary repairs.
- Assisting with site surveys and evaluations to determine the feasibility and optimal placement of solar systems.
- Training team members on installation processes and procedures.
- Ensuring team adheres to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years experience in solar installation or a related field is required.
- Prior solar installation crew leadership is preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and principles.
- Experience / proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in solar installation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Monday through Friday
- Travel between 25% and 50%
