Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Director, Commercial Solar QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control). As a leading solar design, engineering, and construction company, SES is committed to delivering high-quality solar energy solutions. As a Solar QAQC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our projects.
Responsibilities- Conduct quality inspections and audits for solar installations
- Perform visual inspections of installed solar components and electrical connections
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Create and maintain quality control documentation and reports
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to address any quality concerns or issues
- Assist in the development and improvement of quality control processes
- Provide training and guidance to installation teams on quality practices and procedures
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection role, preferably in the solar or construction industry
- Strong knowledge of solar industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Electrical knowledge to include codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to Travel
