Service Project Manager (senior level)

This position focuses on solar energy solutions and is crucial for building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure their satisfaction. The role integrates project management, technical, and leadership skills, vital in optimizing solar power systems' performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting for residential, industrial, and commercial projects. It requires a blend of technical expertise and efficiency, reflecting the company's dedication to providing reliable and sustainable energy solutions. In addition to addressing advanced warranty situations, this role manages Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services, which entail researching each system for repowering, remediation, and removal or reinstallation tasks.

• Champions a culture of technical excellence by delivering highquality technical support.
• Ensures that all work is tracked by specific job numbers, both warranty and billable work.
• Performs work efficiently while meeting projected deadlines.
• Communication, both internally and externally, is comprehensive, professional, and customerfocused.
• Sell and manage O&M projects per our annual business plan goals.
• Cost estimates are timely, and initial budgets are for review within 72 hours of the initial request.
• Maintains a clear understanding of the department's key deliverables and works to support fellow team members as needed.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical and Project Management skills: Planning and scheduling realistic timelines, Budgeting and Cost Management.
• Leadership and Communication: Decisionmaking, making timely and well—informed decisions, especially under pressure, negotiation and influence, managing expectations, and finding common ground.
• Business Acumen: Advanced understanding of the company, department, and solar industry ensures that projects align with strategic objectives.
• 510 years of solar industry experience.
• Able to accurately communicate and document customer feedback.
• Solar System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Handson experience with the maintenance and repair of solar power systems, including solar panels, inverters, and battery storage systems.
• Installation and Commissioning: Experience installing and commissioning solar systems to ensure proper operation, particularly for commercialscale systems.
• Solar System Troubleshooting: Experience identifying and resolving technical issues within solar systems, such as electrical faults, performance degradation, and connectivity issues.
• Field Work Experience: Familiarity with working onsite, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols on large solar installations.
