Solar Consultant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential and commercial customers. Duties:
- Conduct consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and determine the feasibility of installing solar panels
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and explain how solar systems work
- Provide accurate and detailed information about available solar products, financing options, and incentives
- Create customized solar proposals based on customer requirements and present them in a clear and compelling manner
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth project implementation
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management using Salesforce or other CRM software
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and incentives to effectively communicate changes to customers

Requirements:

- Understanding of NJ Solar Incentives and net metering

- Knowledge of solar design, fire codes, etc

-Use of Aurora Solar Design Software
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the energy industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Proficiency in using CRM software such as Salesforce
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Valid driver's license

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $150,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year

Compensation Package:

• Commission pay
• Hourly pay
• Quarterly bonus

Schedule:

• Evenings as needed
• Nights as needed
