Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and construction, with hands-on experience in installing solar energy systems. This role involves working on rooftops and at various construction sites, ensuring that solar panels are installed efficiently and safely according to industry standards.

Duties

  • Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installations.
  • Perform low voltage wiring tasks as part of the installation process.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation, using voltmeters for testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
  • Operate forklifts safely when moving materials as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in solar installation or related fields is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and electrical equipment.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
  • Ability to work at heights on rooftops safely.
  • Experience reading schematics and technical documents is a plus.
