Graphic Designer

Solar Tint/ST Graphics is a family-owned company that has been in business for 45 years. We are the largest 3M window tinting company in the Midwest and rapidly growing and expanding our graphic business.

We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team to better serve our customers.

We design, print/produce and install glass graphics, wall graphics, floor graphics, ADA signage, Dimensional Signage and so much more!

Duties and Responsibilities Job Description

• Responsible for seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion and delivery.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the sales and production team on all creative projects.
• Personally work on graphic development.
• Follow the company’s brand identity standards and guidelines.
• Work closely with sales team to keep all projects on track.
• Interprets company needs and develops concepts to suit specific guidelines.
• Provide accurate time estimates for each project.
• Presents design work at various stages to sales team and clients for review and final approval.
• Use workflow management software to track projects, schedule design and production set up tasks.
• Check production design files to assure accuracy in production.
• Supports design team and Creative Director
• Advise owners on all technical visual recommendations and/or issues.
• Completion of other tasks and duties as assigned.
• Supports production team when needed.
• Supports installers with any issues.
• Attends meetings when needed.

• Ensure all work consistently meets established brand standards and guidelines.
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Familiar with sign and environmental graphic design

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 - $34.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Job Duties Include but not limited to:

• Handle multiple design projects at one time and meet tight deadlines
• Takes customers ideas and brings design to life
• Use Illustrator, photoshop and Sign Design Program to design daily
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with client, sales rep, production and scheduling staff
• Works well independently and as a team
• Understands and practices current design treads
• Use efficient time management skills and pay attention to detail

Requirements:

• GED or High School Diploma
• Minimum 2 year degree in art/design (Prefered but not Required)
• Experienced in Adobe Illustrator
• Experienced in Photoshop
• Experience in Sign Design Program a plus but willing to train the right person
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Provide a current updated Resume
• MUST have a portfolio to show skills and experience
