Role Definition
Designs, develops, builds, and implements new components, products, or technologies to support development of gas turbine combustion systems that utilize hydrogen as a fuel.
Minimum Qualifications
- In the process of obtaining or have obtained a PhD degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, with a specialization in combustion technology
- Overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Previous Internship and relevant work / research experience
- Technical knowledge of engineering fundamentals
- Fundamental understanding of gas turbine engines
- Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA

Summary Pay Range :
87,456.00 - $131,184.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
