The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for providing support on complex projects during the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities for the role include risk identification and management, forecasting, scheduling, cost planning and project status reporting.
What You Will Do:
The Project Controls Specialist will develop project controls including planning, cost control, change management plans and procedures with continuous review and improvement recommendations. The role requires that the project controls processes are consistently applied across all complex projects. The Project Controls Specialist supports the development of resource-loaded schedules, identifying risks to internal and customer commitments. In addition, a key responsibility is to implement Change Management & forecasting practices to appropriately capture the impacts of change to cost and schedule activities.
What You Have:
Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communications
Relationship Management: Excellent people skills to work with own team and report to senior management
Educational Background: BS in Business, Finance, or Engineering 4-year degree or equivalent experience
Technical Excellence: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and flexibility to work with Project Controls software

Summary Pay Range:
$117,940.00 - $176,910.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
