We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions, assessing their needs, and providing tailored recommendations. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting sustainable energy practices and helping clients transition to solar power.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of customers' energy needs and provide customized solar solutions.
- Engage with potential clients through various methods
- Present and explain the benefits of solar energy systems to homeowners and businesses.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize software tools to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a seamless transition from sale to installation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings.
Skills
- Proven experience in solar and energy storage sales is a must.
- Must be tech savvy and have experience building solar proposals with Aurora solar
- Must have experience using a CRM to track client communications and interactions
- Must have knowledge on local utility and AHJ requirements
- Strong understanding of the solar market and renewable energy solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
