About the Role :
SOLARCYCLE is looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Research Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Lab Manager to ensure safe and efficient operations in our high-temperature glass melting and R&D environment. Your work will involve batching and melting glass, conducting property measurements, and organizing and sharing data with the glass R&D team. This is a hands-on role that is critical to our ongoing research and development efforts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure Safety in High-Temperature Environments :
Maintain a strong focus on safety while conducting experiments in a high-temperature glass melting and R&D environment.
Prepare glass batches according to specified formulations.
Perform glass property measurements using various tools and equipment, including TGA-DSC, dilatometer, and spindle viscometer.
Organize and document experimental data in a clear and systematic manner.
