Position Summary
To perform the Resident Services Coordinator role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties at a satisfactory level. The position is a Non-Exempt Level role responsible for resident service activities. The Resident Services Coordinator will establish links with agencies and service providers in the community who serve all aspects of the households of the Community. The Resident Services Coordinator will work and consult with the on-site Manager and President regarding the needs and appropriate service delivery to the population. This role works under supervision of the President. These duties are a usual and customary part of the role.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of Resident Service Coordinator
Job Requirements
Language Skills:
Team member must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies and procedures. Team member must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, residents, supervisors, and the general public. Team member must possess good interpersonal communication skills to interact with residents, vendors and supervisors.
Mathematical Skills:
Team member must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Team member must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Must be capable of defining a problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Requires reliable, insured transportation and valid Driver’s License and insurance
- Must be reliable with minimal unscheduled absences
· Must exhibit professional appearance compatible with company image, positive attitude, energetic, assertive, and capable of being a role model for subordinates

· General knowledge of Fair Housing and 504 ADA compliance
Essential Functions
· Establish & maintain contacts with service providers in the surrounding community
· Provide or coordinate educational sessions for residents about the resources available to them within the broader community
· Monitor the ongoing services as needed, that are delivered to residents by community providers to assure that they are appropriate for the needs of the households
· Maintain accurate, timely and detailed documentation on all services provided;
· Provide monthly input e.g., statistics, number of clients served, center activities/classes to the Director of Operations, for timely completion of written reports.
· Prepare monthly reports regarding all services provided
· Educate other staff and property management team about the needs and services available for residents
· Coordinate outreach as needed for a nutrition program, financial literacy and other classes provided
· Develop and maintain an on-site resource guide of service providers available to the residents
· Work collaboratively with the Resident Manager and Director of Operations to assure that program outcome measures are met
