Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A successful completion of the academic requirements of an educational program in physical therapy approved by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation or the United States Department of Education.
- Licensure to practice as a physical therapist in the state of Florida.
- Prior experience in Physical Therapy, preferred.
- Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association, preferred.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in physical therapy.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and to obtain their cooperation in the treatment prescribed.
- Ability to maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
