We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales Strategy & Operations to lead and optimize our sales organization through data-driven strategies and operational excellence. This role will focus on driving sales performance, managing headcount planning, conducting profitability analysis, and coordinating sales efforts across multiple teams and channels. The Director will work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment with business objectives and smooth execution across all functions. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of balancing high-level strategy with day-to-day operational execution. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future success of our sales organization.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies that align with organizational goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Continuously assess and refine sales processes, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and optimized for performance.
  • Identify new opportunities and sales channels to expand the business and improve market penetration.
  • Oversee the tracking and analysis of sales performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve sales results.
  • Present regular sales performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to set sales targets and align resources across the organization to meet those objectives.
  • Guide the development of territory plans, headcount strategies, and sales budgets.
  • Monitor performance against forecasts and make data-driven adjustments to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Work closely with HR to drive headcount planning, recruitment, and training to ensure the sales team has the right skills and capacity to achieve targets.
  • Lead the development of training and development programs to continuously improve the sales team’s effectiveness.
  • Coach and mentor sales leadership, fostering a high-performance culture within the sales organization.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Business administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies and customer acquisition strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Experience managing and motivating a high-performance sales team, with a focus on driving results and fostering professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
