Responsibilities:
- Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and implement improvement strategies.
- Perform server and security audits, backup procedures, and recovery processes per business continuity strategies.
- Integrate database, email, print, and backup servers into enterprise systems.
- Create and maintain detailed system documentation including configuration, mapping, and service records.
- Ensure system compatibility across in-house computing environments.
- Conduct in-depth system tests and end-user reviews for new and modified systems.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, delivering detailed reports and recommendations.
- Train end-users on new and updated systems.
- Research and evaluate software and system products for potential implementation.
- Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses to aid management decision-making.
- Travel to client sites for system installations and maintenance, ensuring peak functionality.
- Review and approve machines completed by Help Desk Analysts.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
Experience & Education:
- Proven experience in software/system design, development, and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of systems planning and software management best practices.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives.
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to conduct research and analyze system issues effectively.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts in a user-friendly manner.
- Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
