Your Role :
We are looking for a leader to support marketing teams with understanding performance trends and applying those learnings to improving marketing programs. The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics will join the Marketing Analytics team. The goal of the Marketing Analytics program is to translate data into business-driving insights and ensure continuous optimization across online metrics and decision making for Marketing teams. The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics supports both recurring reporting and ad hoc data analyses to equip teams with necessary data and to help identify actionable insights. SolarWinds’ business intelligence program has team members throughout the company with diverse expertise in online data, multi-channel attribution and algorithm creation, regression analysis and data mining, has access to best in class analytics tools and a talented data team, and is a trusted partner across the organization. The Senior Manager joins this peer group to manage planning and performance monitoring, drive insights around the customer journey and lifecycle, track and analyze online customer behavior, campaign performance, and overall lift from marketing programs, and shape our strategic marketing efforts.
Your Impact :
- Manage our team of marketing and web analysts
- Design frameworks that help tackle complex business problems, and recommend tactical steps to improve or course-correct
- Partner directly with Marketing leadership to help achieve revenue and KPI goals
- Define and operationalize best practices for Marketing performance standards / key indicators
- Monitor, measure, and assess how critical initiatives and investments are delivering results for the company
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including product, marketing, sales, analytics, and finance
- Identify optimizations, and implement and measure new processes
- Lead data management and analysis to inform strategy; leveraging company-wide insights to drive process efficiencies that help us make the right growth decisions
- Partner with marketing teams to forecast future performance, and then track daily, weekly and monthly business performance against goals and provide trend analysis against prior periods
- Develop and deliver standardized reports of performance of marketing campaigns and activities including email, search, display, affiliate, partner, site promotions, etc.
- Develop and deliver dashboards and detailed monthly and quarterly results summaries to management team
- Work with key stakeholders to develop forecasts for key marketing indicators and success events
- Drive improvements in testing capability and measurement of tests
- Provide ad hoc and “deep” analysis, synthesize recommendations, and present results
- Propose web projects that we should be working on – backed by data
- Suggest future A / B tests based on past test results
- Translate results of complex analytic problems into actionable recommendations or strategies
