Position Overview
The Hitting Coach plays a key role in keeping our leadership team organized, efficient, and ahead of the game. This individual will set up big plays, manage fast-moving schedules, and keep operations running smoothly—just like a great hitting coach helps batters find their rhythm. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about baseball, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the playbook – Oversee executive calendars, schedules, and travel arrangements.
- Call the right pitches – Coordinate meetings, interviews, and strategic discussions.
- Keep the lineup moving – Ensure smooth communication between executives, internal teams, and external partners.
- Track stats & reports – Prepare presentations, reports, and key documents.
- Handle game-day logistics – Support media events, live productions, and high-profile engagements.
- Scout the competition – Monitor industry trends, baseball news, and emerging opportunities.
- Stay on top of the count – Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 years of experience in an administrative or operations role (sports, media, or entertainment preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
- Passion for baseball and an understanding of the sports media landscape.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends during peak baseball events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital media, content production, or working with talent/influencers.
- Familiarity with social media, baseball analytics, or event coordination.
