Duties

- Manage pain management protocols for patients in both inpatient settings and nursing homes.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance healthcare practices.
- Conduct utilization reviews to ensure appropriate care is provided.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality and safety.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and coding for billing purposes.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field with an active Nurse Practitioner license.
- Experience in Ophthalmology or related specialties is a plus.
- Proficiency in performing clinical procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and tube feeding.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and inpatient care practices.
- Previous experience in nursing homes or similar healthcare environments is desirable.
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies is beneficial.
